FFP facing legal challenge (updated pg 12)

Here's one for you Chaps.

The *German/BAYERN MODEL*.

Last season Bayern's *PROJECT* cost them-£43.648.000
This season Bayern's *PROJECT* cost them-£61.864.000

That's £105mill. A great *PROJECT*. A shining example for all other European Football Clubs to follow. Wait a minute! But.... Erm... It's supposed to be the *MODEL* to follow?

To be fair, Bayern made £5mill back via selling players.

Net spend £100mill.(but it's earned money jrb and not from a Billionaire, Sugar Daddy, etc)

That's why Abramovich and sheikh Mansour are such successful businessmen - they like to invest millions of their own money into a project and then "get bored" and walk away!!!
I don't suppose that fool actually reads this forum but just in case - you illustrate perfectly the gulf between successful, shrewd, intelligent businessmen and tedious little non achieving zeroes like yourself!
And while we're here , given the amount of high street business failures , when can we expect Tesco, Sainsburys et al to demand a law be passed to protect small businesses from going bankrupt, because that , after all , is the only fair thing to do!?!?
The old owner getting bored routine ay....it amazes me that the fools who throw this old line out never seem to be worried about the likes of Aston Villa, Liverpool, Sunderland, Newcastle, Stoke, Fulham and any more who have millionaire/billionaire owners....funny that

Every time one of the nouveau riche clubs splashes out, it hammers another nail in the FFP coffin.

You sure? Apart from Chelsea's fluke in 2012 the Champions League has been dominated by Munich, Barca, United, Madrid, the big 3 Italians and Liverpool. The only party poopers have been Ajax, Dortmund and Porto. Those are the kind if clubs who get raped for daring to be competitive. The giants won't be wiped out by the likes of Monaco.

You have entirely missed the point, I think. It doesn't matter whether the likes of Monaco triumph in Europe. All that matters is that they would usually be expected to have a small turn over compared to the R Mads and swamp dwellers of this world but are spending big anyway.

We're Man City
We'll spend what we want.

Liverpool? If Chelsea's win was a fluke, what was Liverpool's win. They haven't even qualified for the CL in three years. If Chelsea, Ajax, Dortmund, and Porto were party poopers the same could be said of Liverpool, Juventus, and Inter, with one win each. At least they have one more win than Arsenal!

Your pathetic attempt to talk up the 'old money' clubs is looking extremely strained.

What's more likely to induce boredom?

Owning Sunderland: ground two thirds full; league ambition - mid-table, at best; no European games; reasonable possibility of a good cup run; local derby - Newcastle.

Owning City: ground sold out every week, expansion in the pipeline; league ambition - to win it; European games - Champions League; strong possibility of a good cup run: local derby - second biggest game in European club football.

Oh the agony of choice.

In any event who the fuck could ever "get bored" of running the wonderful insane asylum that is Manchester City?

Fantastically put as always. I'd also hazard a guess that for all the Sheikh's business interests, while owning City is hardly his most profitable, it may well give him the most satisfaction. Selling those shares in Barclays at a huge profit no doubt gave him a buzz but moments like Aguero's title-winning goal are priceless.

Then their is always little sheikh mansour to carry on the good work...in say 30 years time
