Very rare I went in wooden spoon in Ashton but if puddings there we on a par with Hamilton St then they were proper :-)

Anyone who has gravy on their fish and chips is a wrong un, and probably interferes with kittens.

many years ago back in the 80s, there was anchinese chippy opposite Ashton baths on Oldham road where used to after a Sunday night in Ashton (when it was good) get fish, chips and curry to walk back towards guide bridge with, gravy is not fkn normal on the said dish

Biting into a rag pudding is more appealing than baiting rags pal. I have to be careful because I easily upset rags with my sharp sarcastic wit ; )

I remember there and it was a good Chinese(nice curry sauce) not bad nowadays actually and I may call in Saturday to absord the alcohol seeing as I'll be drinking only 100 yards away.
