I like a bit of Tabasco sauce on my non battered fish, lovely on hake, sea bass and cod and as a treat now and again Halibut and Turbot, last two my favourites but very expensive these days.Tartare sauce and gherkins are the only things i cannot stand. Nobody else in my house likes it either.
Having said that, it's still a good shout for me to try and make my own, as i know some people love it. Just need to find a suitable taste tester!
