IMO that is some improvement. Fingers crossed that we don't get injuries like last year.

Completely agree, fucking hell we have such a well balanced but also ridiculously strong squad.

At Chelsea and age 36 his lack of mobility was exposed in their midfield two.

However, at ourselves with The Fernands and Yaya to do the running alongside him his passing range from deep will fit us like a glove.

I'm not sure about Yaya doing his running for him... Fernando and Fernandinho yes .... Yaya likes running forward fast but he's not so keen on recovery runs when we lose possessiin!!!

It's a no brainier for both parties.

He stays fit, adds some more experience and depth ton the squad and is good for the English quota. He also pretty good at penalties for those that were worried after the other night

Rather just not send Zuculini out on loan and give him games here instead.

The 4th choice CM (Zuculini/Lampard) will end up getting 20/25 games next season with injuries/African cup of nations.

Rely on injuries to give Zuculini the game time he needs?

Not a case of hoping for injuries, they're a cert to happen anyway. How many midfielders get through a full season in England without missing games?

We're in 4 comps, he'd get plenty of games.

Rodwell was our fourth choice last season, how many games did he get?

Such possibilities in the future though, MLS no real restrictions re FFP, outside jurisdiction of UEFA as is Melbourne, maybe in a couple of years Messi might play together at City in prem league for six months at least, before they head off to NYFC and or Melbourne. Be nice seeing them together.
