Fulham Post-Match Reaction

Tired looking performance today...no one really played that well and yet driving home I counted a few missed game winning chances...Balo's miss kick, Kolarov shoots end of first half instead of squaring, Tevez overhits cross after a great run with Yaya square in second half and Scwartzer's save from Carlos.Could've nicked the 3 ...Heads up and move on.Plenty to play for and no need for doom and gloom.

It was a really weary performance with poor passing and no invention from midfield. The players have had a hard few weeks and that Aris game must've drained the players energy and you certainly wont get an easy game in the league. We cant forget that Fulham have been extremely mean in defence this season and without Silva we were never going to reach the heights of Craven cottage. Still there were certain players taht were awful namely Boateng, Kolorov and Balotelli. Even though he scored a cracking goal his body language stinks never chases back after losing it even when its only a yard or two away. Hed rather rely on others... pathetic. Youd never think he was 19 would you. ?
I'm concerned about Villa midweek mainly because they're on a good run of form and Houllier wouldve taken note that natives are once again restless and will try to hurt us on the wings where we are still very weak. Lets hope Silva returns to provide a goal or two for King tev.
Couldn´t give 2 fooks about the cup coz Everscum will play us off the park with desire and will to win alone

Were you at the game today?

That was utterly clueless today both from most of the players on the pitch and the manager. As everyone I've spoken to has said, why bring the pedestrian Milner on (who isn't a winger) and not SWP, who at least might do something.

We're supposedly chasing a game and our midfield consists of Barry, Milner, Viera and Yaya Toure, a midfield without any pace or creativity. Only Zab & Lescott were decent today.

Despite my wumming, I've said that he needs another full season but after today I think that would possibly be a wasted season.

Bitterly disappointed with the performance today. Fatigue is not an excuse when you want to compete at the very top. Neither are injuries. The fact we're heading towards another cup final with Spurs at COMS suggests to me that we've made little progress on the field in the last 12 months. Roberto is beginning to look and sound like a manager under a great deal of pressure. I fear for him because Hughes made his team look toothless and devoid of ideas, which can't have gone down well in Abu Dhabi.

We don't often agree mate but you are spot on!

Pressure is on Bobby big time and it's starting to show.

Great. Another manager is the answer. Id rather we just gave up than keep changing managers. This is the same team that was doing so well before the christmas rush. I believe we'll come good again. Please not another manager. Where has it ever got us?

we've got the same number of points as we did after this many games last season...

No Richards, AJ, Kompany, Silva today and that was our 7th game in 26 days.

Utd and Arsenal have the strength in depth to compete - and their game suffers after European games too.

There are too many games in the Europa League. If we want to do well in the League we need to start resting key players in the Cups.

But if I were Mancini I'd not give my players any excuse about tiredness before KO

Don't agree, any team missing Silva, De Jong and Kompany would struggle.
With a lot of games to play over the next few weeks, I suppose RM has now
got to prioritise(sp). Title is well out of reach, but third, and a cup are well within grasp.

Can i just thank the mods on here for this wondeful idea of putting all the OTT sensationalist bollocks all in one thread, leaving the rest of the board to discuss other aspects off the game in a sensible and debating matter.

Also i have already bookmarked a couple of K.Reeves right foot's posts and he must hope that Mancini fails as much as he wants to as i will be bringing them back up come the end of May. Sorry K.Reeves right foot but you annoy me alot and remind me of my cousin who will not be getting invited to any more family parties if he carries on after every time we don't win lol
Sorry WNRH but I DO NOT want Mancini to fail. You see, thats the flawin your argument. I don't give a fuck who our manager is as long as he inspires the players and can make tactical decisions during a game to help us have a BETTER chance of winning.
I can live with being banned from your family parties.I annoy you, that's fine, but I believe it's not me who annoys you but the truth behind my posts. That's what scares you is'nt it?
Mancini said after the gamne the p[layers were tired - BULLSHIT.
Let's go through them.
1. Hart - keepers are never tired
2. Boateng - bullshit. He hasn't played enough to be tired.
3. Kolarov - same as above - should be fresh after a delayed start to season.
4. Kolo - has been on the bench a lot recently so bullshit again.
5. Lescott - again hasn'rt played enoug to be tired.
6. Yaya - maybe - if so, drop him. But no, Mancini plays him anyway therefore defeats his own argument.
7. Tevez - maybe - same as above then.
8. Balotteli - tired my arse - hardly played, hardly moves when he does play.
9. Djeko - not played enough to be tired.
10. Barry - maybe - but again, drop him if he is.
11. Zabs, didn't look it - yhe 1 player today who cared.
Mancini uses shite excuses again, don't wash with supporters, except ones with head in sand.
And finally, i'd be delighted if you can flag up my posts you're keeping inn your pocket, as I want us to win somkething - that's my point in casee you missed it. Otherwise I wouldn't care [like the players] and wouldn't go to the games.
My points have been consistent for 15 months now and Mancini just makes the same mistakes over and over again.
Why not play SWP in the Silva role today if players need a rest? Why not start with Milner who's been rested? Can you answer these questions?
