Great game. Watched it online and despite Halsey we looked much more like the City of last season, we can finally actually keep the ball. Although listening to the dribble on MOTD this morning you'd think we were still rubbish.
Gareth Barry back

Yup he does a decent job keeps the ball moving dont give it away and puts himself about a bit

Pound for pound one of the best signings the club made post take over he has been a bargain
yeah but he's slow, yeah but he can't tackle without a booking, yeah but he doesn't score like he did at villa, yeah but he can't dribble, yeah but he's not box to box

i think he provides a steady platform for the 'stars' to operate from

I think his speed / mobality is the biggest issue but he seems to have a good positional sense which compensates to be honest the other stuff is less of an issue

But I agree he does allow the more gifted players to shine but thats his job and thats his role and surely if he was that bad Mancin would not play him so much

Top player for me

Where did you watch the game?

on tv :)

what's wrong?

Nothing wrong......

I watched on TV as well,Tevez,as ever, gave his all and looked a handful again.
MOTD must just have focused on his better moments as well......

They both gave all they got, but Tevez looked exhausted and Clichy was useless after 1-0 for Fulham, considering his attacking skills.

Top player for me
for me too, and has become a model professional

Very happy with yesterday's performance.

Good solid starting line up and team formation. Quality bench.

Plenty of flowing and passing football throughout the 90 minutes.

Kept possesion and stopped giving the ball away at last.

All in all this is the first game of this season that reminded me of why we won the title last season.

Dortmund and Sunderland next.

I watched the brief highlights on MOTD and Tevez should have had a 1st half pen and played a key role in Aguero's goal.

Thought we were excellent yesterday. Big positive was Barry coming back. We have missed him in the league. Thought as others have mentioned Silva was excellent and good to see Sergio back amongst the goals.

Little gripe, but I didn't understand why Tevez played 120 minutes Tuesday then started again yesterday.

EDIT:

How could I not mention Nastasic. Had little to do but he looks to be a superb signing. Really excited to see his development in the coming years. I love Lescott and it will be a shame if he loses his place in the side, but I like competition for places and he has that big time now.

Was a quality rendition of it today - didn't know when it was going to end.

Thought the support was a lot better today than at Stoke in general as well.

Great day all round. Just need to watch MOTD for Spurs finally getting 3 points at the Swamp to top it off!

I was in with the neutrals and managed to get a party of five Italians and a couple
of Slovakians joining in,they loved it...great away day it was like wandering around a
Hugh Grant film set down there

Always a good day at Fulham V. I heard it was over £55 for neutral tickets,is that true??

Yea £55...worth it tho

I agree, superb away day, great weather, great city and fantastic away support yesterday. The Yaya/Kolo chant was non-stop for a good 10 mins and when we were waiting at one of the Northern Line stations after the game there was a Fulham fan (only about 9 or 10) behind us with his dad and he started singing it to himself. Me and my lad turned round and the Fulham lad said, can't help it, it's such a catchy song.

And Fulham at home are no mugs. Before yesterday, they'd only lost one game at the Cottage this calander year.
