Yes i see Hard work & good movement off the ball stuff Pep will like. I just don’t get the hype I must be missing something.

Indeed you are...

The fact that he is just under 1 in 2 in his time at city, both domestically and internationally, at 21, with 16 of his appearances coming from the bench should enlighten you. We’ve lost once, just the once, in the prem when he’s started/come off the bench, (49 games in total)... his movement, as you stated but underplay, is exceptional and improving.....

You want to know what Tevez would of been like in a Pep side then keep watching the lad, an outstanding talent, who like all strikers, is going through a barren spell, the difference being it should be fully expected given his limited game time this season....

His ceiling is as high as any player we’ve had in the mansour era, yet the clamour to shoot from the firing squad, without taking the blinkers off, still exists from a good proportion of our fan base....

Would you feel comfortable having Jesus playing upfront as Aguero is injured from say the start of March to mid-April, because I wouldn't be

Last season was last season and he seems to be going backwards

Think you need to look at our results and whom they’re again with Jesus starting.

Last year we won at Chelsea, Spurs, Everton & United with Jesus leading the line. That’s off the top of my head. We literallly just put in our best performance of the season with him leading the line.

I think some fans need to look a little bit closer at his performance.

Last night, he should have scored, but delayed his best chance.
But, he also was heavily involved in two of the three goals, put another on a plate for D Silva. His movement and team play is amazing.

But he's not Aguero and therein lies the problem for some

This is a huge disrespect to Tevez. Jesus is a prospect but will he reach the level Tevez reached? No chance

I disagree with Zin too but for different reasons, Tevez would never do what he was told, him and Guardiola wouldn't work.

If you paid attention instead of just jumping in it was about who is currently on form goal scoring, this is not an either or discussion about the 2,they bring different things but for a striker it's also about scoring, this season he appears to have stalled in that dept

Either I'm reading a different thread, or you're not paying attention either :-)
The last couple of pages have been about whether or not we could cope without Sergio if he was injured

He was aiming the he's not sergio comment at me as he was part of the conversation last night
We can cope as we have goals from different players but relying on gabby as the striker then no

Ah right - missed that.
I think we can rely on him as he's bound to come out of this bad spell soon (I hope) and he contributes enough even when he's not scoring
