He has a year left on his contract and Spurs have champions’ league football. I’m guessing he’d rather go there than Arsenal, but who knows. In any case, we should do what’s in our best interests and the player. It wouldn’t be a good idea to play hardball too much on the fee just because their chairman’s a bit odd; small time.
