He had an operation on his knee. And that's when I think his problems began. At Liverpool. He came back for the 2010 World Cup but was not the same player.
My view. I don't know this for a fact.
His pace isn't the problem, its his confidence in goal. He still gets into dangerous positions as much as anyone, he just can't finish to save his life.
