Why won't he go to another English club?
I get that Levy wouldn't WANT to sell to another English club, but why would Bale not want to? Is he really so loyal to Tottenham fans that he's willing to up sticks and move to a country where he doesn't speak their language, leave his friends and family, rather than join a club not far down the road who will be able to offer him just as much in wages as any other club in the world with a certain starting spot in the first XI plus CL?

It's hard to take this seriously...
That's because, we understand, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have all made it clear they are prepared to pay £80m for the Welshman.
John Cross is a Gooner and is trying to sell Spurs' best player through his article IMO. I'm sure everyone would love Bale but does anyone really think we or United or Chelsea will match the world transfer record for him?
Fucking ell 80m?! is levy feeding the media? We all know spurs need a new stadium or extend, also knows a bad season or 2 from Bale and he won't get what he wants.. Now is the time to sell Levy knows it, he is ramping it up...

Serious statement of intent will be made in a bid for Bale.
He is the one and only player that matters and can really make a difference to our squad or any squad for that matter.
