where would bale fit in our team anyway ?

4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. You build teams round players like him.

Thanks - but its not...........ive no history of it, just reporting what ive heard from a source within the club - take it or leave it.

If you do indeed have a source, he's not a bad one...

He has got the money and characters skewed, but all the same, Bale is one of the primary targets.

Spurs and Levy have been expecting the approach from City for the last month.

there we are then - more than just wumming! but my understanding is that the deal has been done already - might explain why dzeko was soooo crap i guess..................didnt want to score against his new club?!

Using the logic that Dzeko didn't want to score against his new club, how come Bale had no prblem doing just that (according to your claim)

Few minutes before his assist and a goal I wanted to post in match day thread that Bale might sign for City soon as he always play crap games against us. Better I didn't :)

Well Chelsea need to up their game if we are to stand any chance of signing him. If spuds get 4th place he will be staying there. He said in the press last year he was staying at spuds one more year to help them get champs league but if not he would have to consider his options. As much as I hate Chelsea we really need them getting 4th.

spurs aren't making top four so he will be sold just a matter of to who and when

Have you not seen Chelsea's run in and the amount of games they have to play?

We pretty much gave Tottenham the momentum to get top 4 if you ask me.

This. Also Rafa will only care about getting a Europa League winners medal.

I think he will stay in Spurs even if they fail to make top four.
To expect him to be sold by the price demanded by Levy is just insane. Looking at the stats over the past seasons and his style of play, he won't suit tabloid rumoured big clubs. He will need to improve his skills a lot to be able to play regularly in a big club in a different league.

Lol wut? He would be a starter in ever team at every league. Not sure you watched him closely but the man is a stud. His skill is already developted and he is one of the top 5 players in the world right now.

Ridiculous. Let's watch the game (not the EPL) properly.
You take tabloids' concoctions too seriously, LOL.

I felt the same way you did earlier on but this guy is the real deal.
He's also shown he can it in Europe.
He is without a doubt in the top 4 list of players in his primary position.
If he was Garetho Balenadinho there would be so much wanking on bluemoon and elsewhere
I give it up for the man, he went from a shit left back to a world class midfielder in few seasons.
He would get in any team in the world , Rags of Germany have really good players for his positions though so that one would be tougher.

From where I see it, Bluemooners seem to be jizzing all over him, from everywhere.

80m + Dzeko? Not a fucking chance City will pay that. We'd then need to replace Mario & Dzeko and that wouldn't come cheap. We'll spend money but we won't be spending 80m on 1 player.

Bale would replace Dzeko if a replacement was needed. We will sign a striker or player who can play there anyhow, to replace Mario in the squad, whether Dzeko stays or not. To replace Dzeko, just move Bale or Yaya there when required.

A City team with one striker plus Bale, is much stronger than a team with one striker plus Dzeko.

If Bale is sold does anyone honestly think Levy will sell to either us,the rags or anyone else in this country...Spurs are not like Arsenal.

Bale will be going abroad IMO-Madrid or Bayern

True- I'd be surprised if he stayed in the league, even if he wanted to or not.

I just hope we do aim high this summer in terms of targets, and land a couple of the key targets. You can never believe completely what papers say, but by all accounts it seems unlikely we will get Falcao, and Cavani is now heavily linked with PSG.
I hope we approach the right players, and deliver to ensure we have a successful season next season.

Well thats that then!

Unfortunately you are wrong - about everything.

No, he wont. Home lovin' boy.
As for IF Bale is sold - everyone (inc spurs) know its WHEN.

just being in the CL isnt enough, he wants a chance to win it. No other club in the world can afford him and offer him that prospect.
Spurs have no prospect of winning the CL - without spending at least £200m. They haven't got FP sorted for that to happen.
They would be happy to try to win the Prem and win a trophy. Their team isnt good enough and the top players wont go there. They have to sell bale to move on to that level.

By the way - I gave you HAZARD as a done deal last year. It was, right up until Chelsea offered him a contract which stipulated he HAD to be selected for EVERY game. City wouldn't do that, so the deal collapsed and they snatched him at the eleventh hour.
Bale isnt a city player until hes signed. All I am saying is that the deal in principle has been agreed between the clubs - just as it was with Hazard..............

-- Wed Apr 24, 2013 10:03 am --
