I preferred Brown but he didn't have the charisma that Blair has.

He should have called an election after the Somerset floods as his decisive action won a lot of hearts and minds in a part of the country that would usually go lib dem/Tory at the time.

Brown fucked that election up for sure, it was awful to watch.

Had he won in 2010 we’d be in a better place as a country now.

The Iraq war didn't help Labour as well as the rise in the SNP and not forgetting the crash of 2008 which Brown certainly didn't cause.

The general message was that Blair was a sly **** who was puckering up to Bush's arse, throw in that Brown couldn't stop talking shit when his microphone was still on and you have a Labour defeat.
 

A wet April does not explain this in my opinion.

Especially when you look at February's and March's rainfall figures which were significantly above average especially in England. January 2024 was near average.
