I honestly thought he'd stand down after his Gaza debate fuck up.

Be interesting to see how he handles a new government.

Didn't he apologise? To be fair I've met him a few times and he's a really decent bloke.

He did but I felt he lost his authority that day.

As a bloke I could listen to his stories for hours. He was on a podcast and he told us about how he got Nancy Pelosi and other world speakers to have a G7 speakers shindig in Chorley against the wishes of other departments who insisted it would have to be in London.

Answered every question they threw at him to justify not moving it to his constituency. He showed his knowledge of his patch to make sure it happened.

Similar but I opted for 10 years.

The rates forced my hands - 2 and 5 years fix was pushing near 6%

That’s a bit silly. Why not have gone interest only till the rates dropped ?
