The rise of Reform should be deeply troubling to anyone sensible. I can see the rise of the far right creeping across the world and it’s worrying.

The far right hasn't risen. All that has happened is 3-5 million people have voted for Reform instead of Tory.

We unfortunately have an extremely divided country.

As did the Tories with an 80 seat majority in 2019 - its just they squandered it on Brexit, in fighting and corruption. If Labour avoids those 3 errors then all is good

There's no getting away from it but there's a fascist part of the electorate. Luckily it's very small compared with some of our European neighbours.

They might get the second highest vote share or come close to the tories. Worrying times

BBC going with 110 seats from Con->Lab, the Red Wall is presumably about half of those.
40 or so going Con->Lib presumably, which is a lot.

The opposition doesn't look very united either, as LibDems are unlikely to be mates with the Conservatives.

Conservatives look like having to change their name from a party to a gathering. Ironic when you think of how they socialised during Covid. Not a fan of Starmer but we needed a change
