Nunez will thrive at Napoli. He isn't a bad striker at all despite his unsuccesful spell at the Cult and they mostly get the very best out of average players to levels where they can get a tidy profit.
 
Do they really need him? They have Lukaku?
Looks like they are trying to buy all the rejects of the PL.
Nunez, garnacho, Grealish, Sancho.
I can see them all thriving in the Serie A. Especially because of the lower pace in that league
 


Barcelona is funny. They do know that Bilbao only accepts the release clause if you pay all the money at once. There will be 100% no installments. Unless Laporta tried to do a dodgy deal this will never happen . Also I keep wondering why players like Olmo even still move to that club. Yeah it’s his childhood club but they always tell players to lower their wages and that they will double them 3-4 years after but when the time comes they use their media propaganda like Ter Stegen, Piqué, Dembele and De Jong, Braithwaite and Depay. Dembele shit on like 17m while pique didn’t get his 25m and turned it down due to media exposure. What an ugly club. They pulled some type of shit with Messi too.

Unless things massively improve at that club, the adulation of Barcelona from players will die with age, as they continue to fall.

Kids growing up now, last saw Barcelona win the champions league 10 years ago. For context, Vitor Reis would have been 9 years old.

The damage of the last 10 years post the glory days of Pep and Enrique will have a lasting effect, just as the reputation they have with fucking players about on wages and so on will too.

Just as the dominance we’ve shown, and treatment of players we have demonstrated will have the opposite effect.

It won’t. Cruyff moved there decades before their first European Cup. So did Maradona. The club could go thirty years without a European Cup (like Real Madrid did) and still be a colossal draw

i was talking to myself when i heard Marmoush is getting like 270k/ weekly now. Might be a lie but if it’s true that’s like 4 times his former wages.

fees they are paying being played down without any add ons, same with wages

Guehi would be insane to go to the dippers now. At the minute, playing every week for palace he's a shoe in for a starting spot in the world cup, he goes there where he'll play games but not every week, instead sharing games with Konate and missing all the big games and suddenly his starting spot is gone and his place in the squad isn't guaranteed. If he's determined to leave Palace, you go next summer

Van Dijk won't be around next year. It's the perfect signing. He'll take over from Konate sooner rather than later this season I think. Why not go now? He'll play enough to play for England, not bursting at the seams with quality centre backs are we? It hurts to say but the scousers are fucking on it. Sadly.
