Doves lasts night

Great as ever, though still not the same without Jimi
Venie, first time I had been to tge Aviva, was alright, draught ale is watered down to fuck mind.
Crowd, bit disapointing tbf wankers talking during songs in few areas

Got them tonight in Brum. Jimi will always be a miss but on a positive note they're playing a pretty small venue and they always nail the music. Seen a couple of set lists and I see they've been knocking Space Face out at the end

I enjoyed it. Yes, Jimi was missed, but it gave the band an opportunity to rework a few songs. I thought the new versions of "Kingdom of Rust" and "10:03" especially sounded fantastic. Also thought Jake Evans was incredibly talented and added to the live sound.
Had a couple of "chatters" next to me, but thankfully the sound was loud enough to drown them out.
 
Just home from the Albert Hall and the excellent Jalen Ngonda gig.

the mans voice is sublime, nice to briefly see @bluejon on the way out though I couldn't find you outside so I fucked off home ;-)

Yes, went to this gig as well.
Jalen is a talent, with the ability to make it look effortless.
Love the Albert Hall, but it gets bloody warm in there !!!

sunday gig mate, we scooted. had to stomp back up to the aquatic centre to get the car. that was brilliant tonight, and michael kiwanuka on thursday too, top week.
 
Went the CO-OP last night for Teddy Swims, really good gig. Been before for James but had seats, much better down on the floor last night for me.
 
Michael Kiwanuka at the Apollo tonight. A long time since I’ve been there, anyone know what parking is like?

I’m thinking of driving part of the way and parking up somewhere on the 192 route but maybe it’s not necessary?
 
Saw Norwegian Post Punk band Pom Poko at Brudenell Social Club on Tuesday, really good along with support band Alien Chicks.

Got tickets for Massive Attack at Co-Op in June, what's it like using the official car park is it a nightmare getting out and if so what are the better alternatives? My local geography is not great.

Any info appreciated.
