Gigs Thread

Just got back from the Inspiral Carpets gig at The Albert Hall.

Fucking great. Warm up DJ was brilliant and the Inspirals absolutely smashed it out of the park. And yes me and a few others sang you signed Phil Jones we signed Kun Aguero!!

Also lovely tributes to Mani and Andy Gill
Was there.

Fucking colossal.

What
A
Band.

I too have just seen Inspiral Carpets, the last night of the tour, here in Belfast. Inspirals were an important band for me back in the day…absolutely love them. I had seen some clips and wasn’t sure how good they’d be, but they were brilliant last night…and the crowd really up for it too.
Last time I saw them was way back in roughly 1992…so it’s been a while, really enjoyed it

Just been to watch Manchester Band Arkayla at the Academy 2. £15 and an hour set which is pretty much all they have at the moment.

Excellent live so worth going if you see them if you they tour next year which I’m
Sure they will, as they will be much bigger and much more expensive in a couple of years.

Supporting Doves tomorrow.

Nice one for the heads up I'll get in early to see them.

Likewise. I listed them in the last hour (did not sell unsurprisingly) so I took a hit as work at my house was overrunning. Same with the match which I also missed!!

Gutted but we’re off to Galway in June to see them and James on consecutive days.
Saw Docs always look like they are enjoying themselves on stage and not just going through the motions. They also dont seem to take themselves too seriously, were excellent at Piece Hall in the summer.

Limehouse Lizzy tonight put on a superb show as ever. I’ve never been a massive Thin Lizzy fan, not so much my thing tbh, but live with a tight band and a charismatic front man like they have, the songs just come alive.
Highly recommended. Seen them a few times now and wouldn’t hesitate to go again.

1st visit to the Co op live last night to see Biffy Clyro. Fantastic gig.
Was there too, they were brilliant. And took my daughter to see Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg at the academy 3 last night. Yeah, none of the original band are still with us, but that was special. Never got to see them so that's as close as we're going to get, and it was fantastic. Still buzzing today.
