In my case it's not, it's a bunch of retired FOC's who play three times a week having a blast, pies, sandwiches and beers at half way and great company, play for a few quid, all retired enjoying our senior years, love it.

Not an avid golf follower, so be gentle. How come tournaments in Africa or the far east are classed as being on the European tour. Shirley, there are Asian and African tours? They're no more European than I'm a Chesterfield 3 piece suite.

It's a good point you've made. It's down to the weather, a golf tour should be playable throughout the year, the American PGA tour basically follows the good weather starting in Hawaii then California and generally moving east through the year. The European tour has to move out of Europe because of the shit weather or it would only last for 6 months.Not an avid golf follower, so be gentle.
