Imagine the daily stars report if we were to sign haarland with wages, dad's fee, agent fee, signing on fee, moving costs, medical fees, hospital car park and whether to report it in pounds or euros depending what the exchange rate is at the time

It is very important if a player is ever surplus to requirements at a future date and it is reason most record signings are younger than Kane currently is (there are exceptions of course).

It still doesn't matter, we don't buy to resell, and in the instances we do because it doesn't work out, we are not the scousers who need to make a profit or break even on selling on to fund a replacement.

Resales value, though handy isn't important to our model, as has been evident for a while.

Most of our generated profit on a player from sales has been academy products not first teamers.


Still anything over £100M is overpriced imho, but up to the club to decide if they want to do ii

I think this will happen for about 130m. Not sure I'm buying this Kane isolation story as well, Spurs know his time at their club is coming to an end. Still think it will be a couple of weeks though for things to get moving

To me, Chelsea 'pulling out' would suggest the opposite. If by the one thing you mean money.

He could get that from Chelsea, they would pay it. If he isnt going for that, I would read that as he knows where and when he wants his next move (and likely not City btw, in case you think that's what i was suggesting).

That's ignoring Dortmund in it all.

Some just don’t like him or Grealish. There’s no basis to it. They simply just don’t like him.
Meanwhile every fan of every other team wish they were signing either.
