I can’t see the move happening. Levy has form, he’s completely dispassionate about the players in these situations. It’ll be his valuation or no deal. If Levy’s figure is 150-160 million, I don’t believe we’ll go anywhere near that.
levy is in a good situation either way. If Kane goes it’ll be for the full asking price. If Kane stays then the narrative is already out that Kane is stirring for a move and behaving unreasonably. If Kane has a bad season at Spurs it’ll be blamed on him not wanting to be at Spurs and having a bad attitude if he had a good season everyone will say Levy was right not to sell etc.
I think Pep summed it up. If Spurs will negotiate there may be a deal if they don’t there won’t and the chances of Levy negotiating are very low IMO.
