No. Ally Gold is tier one for Spurs. He broke the Romero and Gollini deals before anyone else. He does only usually get fed what the club wants him to know, but he's as good a source you can get for Spurs, along with Romano and Di Marzio since Paratici arrived

It isn't just Ally btw who has said a new contract is a possibility. I've seen two other good sources myself say the same.

The numbers (costs) involved would mean there was always an element of gamble though, and I say that as someone for whom he’d be first choice for us.
