We are probably very aware of whether either of those options are real. Mbappe almost definitely isnt. Doubt Haaland is an option for anyone this summer either. I think we and Chelsea are aware of Haalands plans for next summer.

I am not so sure about that. reports have suggested that for the entire summer we haven't been looking at any other striker because pep only wants kane.

Plans change! Look at lukaku. he constantly said he's happy at inter, wanted to stay at inter. Inter said he's not for sale. Then chelsea diverted their attention from haaland and towards lukaku and were able to sign him very quickly. Which again, that only happened last week - where were WE in this situation? Why do we find ourselves so frozen? If you're going for kane and not willing to hear anyone else, go for kane a month ago. What's a month going to do? is levy going to lower his price? have you stopped and thought what happens if they dont find anyone by the end of the transfer window and simply refuse to finalize the deal? does that not strike you as something levy is more than capable of doing?

I don't need to. If they dont find anyone they will take the money and sit on it.

Like villa, the preference is to get players in (if they can) and in their case they did get them in and oh yeah, Grealish left the next day.
