Well now at least we see how this going to play out.

City have supposedly submitted a bid at 100M, which according to some is what we value Kane at, so were not playing games and trying to be cute.

We get knocked back, try to include players, who won't go because there isn't CL football.

Levy sticks to his 150M valuation.

and we walk away saying we see better value for money elsewhere.

There is also apparently the possibility that if Spurs get a good offer and Kane wants to go, any fucking around by Levy might force Kane's hand to buy out his own contract! No-one has actually used the Webster ruling in the PL to my knowledge.

Specifically, it states that any player who signed a contract before the age of 28 can buy himself out of the contract three years after the deal was signed. If he is 28 or older the time limit is shortened to two years

And how much would it cost Harry? £50m!
 
I can't believe some are disappointed with the potential signing of Kane. Ready made goalscorer. Proven. Only his glass ankle is a question mark. I'd rather have Haaland but we can take him next year on the cheap!

Nobody will buy out their contract until some useless unheard of journeyman in the Moldovian 3rd division sets the precedence (like Bosman... I know he went to court).......then it will become the norm ;)

See levy has briefed that Kane isn’t going anywhere and has told potential managerial candidates just that. About 5 different journos running with the same story. Gonna need Kane to push after the euros if we have any chance getting this done. Whatever happens will run way into august imo levy is a twat to negotiate with just hope we have an alternative target lined up

We got awarded 9 just in the league, should have been more but the narrative we don’t get them is weak these days, we nearly missed half of them, one miss prevented us winning the league that day and one prevented us getting a win against liverpool. Can sometimes be key.
