That would surely be more of a pain in the arse? Which good player would agree to go there for less money and no champions league? City would be better doing £130m plus add ons to £150m and then maybe selling someone for £50-60m? Bernardo Silva maybe?

None of our first team squad would entertain going there.

That's not how amortisation works.
He signed a 5 year deal so 1/5 of his fee will have been amortised(?) and 4/5 or 32m will still be left

None of our first teamer will go to Spurs in a swap. It's gonna be a cash deal and I'd say a player will depart to a club abroad on a kind payment schedule/loan with obligation.

As for Ake, he knew what sort of role to expect when coming here and he will get his chances at LB (where I believe he's gonna be more than likely 2nd choice behind Zin), and maybe even in holding mid from time to time.

Villa are idiots. Maybe Grealish wont go, but there is a high chance he will, so why haven't they spent the £100m up front? I know they've made a couple of signings but imo they will struggle next season without Grealish.

Buendia CAM, Bailey and Traoré/El Ghazi on the wings with Watkins up front is a brilliant attack IMO. I don't know who they could sign who'd improve that front four. If it was up to me, I'd sign someone to replace Mings.

exactly so as of now he cost us 32m, added with 120m for Kane, it's a decent deal.

Spurs need a cb, Ake gets regular football and keeps the same wage, maybe with a slight increase.

There’s definitely the opportunity to do so.

There is a dearth of number 9s though. You’d be looking at Ings etc as a temporary replacement.

Nuno might be able to work with amended again though if he has some promising younger players.

I‘ve no idea what the fee would be for Kane. The more north of £100m, the more uncomfortable I get.

Ings, as you say, wouldn’t be a bad shout for a PL ready, short term option. Long term, I think Spurs have Vlahovic in mind. He won’t give us everything that Kane gives us, though.
