Goals a season in a decent team
The only season he'll get 40 goals in now will be one that is 14 months longGoals a season in a decent team
He would walk over hot coals 200 miles to play for City. This Kane is mentally shot. He would still be a beast in this city team. Unfortunately for him I think that ship has sailed.
And then be out for a couple of months when he got here.He would walk over hot coals 200 miles to play for City.
Which chance would he have buried yesterday? I think had we had 'Arry up front it wouldn't have made the difference. And 'Arry himself would be wondering today why so many of his goals have been disallowed by VAR - it never happened down The Lane!Goals a season in a decent team
It’s more having a presence upfront in games like that. Someone to actually occupy centre halves and hold the ball up and create space for others. It would also mean our best player isn’t stuck up there battling big central defenders and getting on the ball more often. That’s before you get to the fact Kane can actually head a ball, shoot from distance and is one of the best natural finishers in the world.Which chance would he have buried yesterday? Pep out, Sack the BoardWe have already spunked huge amounts on supposedly great players, but who lack pace, i.e. Grealish, Rodri, Mahrez etc. In fact the only attacking player we have with any pace is Sterling, and his form is shot. KDB has become a carthorse and we simply cannot rely on a diminutive Foden to break the lines when he's physically not a match for those he's trying to out run. We certainly do not need to waste another huge sum of money on another slow coach Kane. In short the team has wilted as a collective and have offered little on the break since Sane left. It's no surprise that the most mobile and speedy players we possess are our best performers, with Kyle Walker and Bernardo the only 2 we have who consistently perform. The flaw in finding a replacement for Aguero is almost gross negligence and the fact it's not being more readily questioned emphasises how the various management areas within our club do not seem accountable. As it stands, Pep goes in 18 months and unless something dramatic happens with fresh pacy attacking players in the January window, I can see nothing but a lingering demise playing out until June 23.
Yeah if his head isn't fully there then it means that every day he's never going to quite be 100%. People don't realise it's not just matches that get affected, but also every training session too which in turn will affect matches again.I think it’s obvious Kane is struggling mentally after not getting his move and the way spurs handled the whole situation was pretty sinister imo. He was made out to be the bad guy which the press lapped up. To me it’s pretty obvious levy lied to Kane and as a result has caused this whole mess where spurs, Kane and city are all suffering. You just don’t become a bad player overnight
I think Levy prefers the Blankety Blanket pen and chequebook.I hope we table a derisory, totally unacceptable, laughable and downright piss taking offer in January for him. For no other reason than to annoy Levy. Kind of like Jim Bowen saying "here's what you could have won" at the end of Bullseye.
