Hart No1

Think this is the correct choice,Hart has become a better all round keeper after his loan spell last year. Watched him the other night for England and he commanded his area. His distribution was mainly by throwing the ball as opposed to Given kicking upfield. Its the way to go for me ,if Given wants to go then so be it.

My thoughts exactly!

Tought decision to make, I think we win, and we lose no matter which one we go for.

I would go for Hart, his age and the possibility of a re-occurrence of Shays injury just tips it toward Joe.

But it's incredibly harsh on Given, I'd be looking to give him the move he wants. Celtic would be ideal, I'd even let him go to Arsenal if Wenger gets his head out of his arse and wants a decent keeper.

Defo wouldn't want to vastly strengthen one of our competitors. Fulham or Celtic would work out.

If shay puts in transfer request id want city to turn it down because we need two quality keepers of we are pushing for top four and it will keep Hart on his toes.. Oh didn't shay's understudy at Newcastle sit on the subs bench for about 10 years without whinging or moaning? First sign shay thinks he's not number 1 he's saying he'll have talk to the manager about it!

Sad but whichever keeper was on the bench would do the same. IMHO its always difficult to keep 2 top keepers happy, we need a older keeper or a v young one for bench warming dutys.

Yet another from the Hughes camp who can fek off

dear oh dear. top keeper at the peak of his career should be content sitting on the bench but it was acceptable for young hart with 13 - 15 years ahead of him to DEMAND to start? What a ridiculous post, Given did a job for us and is an ambitious lad that just loves playing, grow up and wish him the best.

Both of them have behaved liked kids. The difference is that Joe hart is a kid. Shay shouldn't have sunk to the same level as the more experienced man. Sounds like retaliation to me. Perhaps Given thinks Hart tried to force Mancini to pick him by sounding out a loan move. Given then thinks two can play at that game.

Thing is though the majority of fans will back Hart because he's seen as 'ours' with the age we bought him in it and how we've seen him develop to an England international.
