We went round the London dungeons this afternoon & had a bunch of rags from east anglia taking the piss about me getting picked for torture chair. I was able to calmly say “you enjoy todays fellas, tomorrow you get to see real torture” was lovely watching the colour drain from there faces as realisation set in.

I am nervous about tomorrow. Against anyone else bar Liverpool I could enjoy myself.

But I am consoling myself that tomorrows game is not the defining game of the season. Don’t like the comp but winning in Istanbul will be a landmark achievement for the club.

So if you could offer me a loss tomorrow and a win v Inter I would take it.

I’m fine now and still thinking clearly but at about 2pm tomorrow that will all change - for my whole life (63 now) I have hated derby day, it absolutely kills me. My grown up lads laugh at me and say c’mon dad be positive. Great advice but ….. I will be a complete nervous wreck tomorrow. C’mon City - please be 8 out of 10 cos if we are we win.
