Hazard Joining Chelsea

I still don't get why Mancini tried getting him so bad if he already knew he wanted to play as the no.10 and we have enough options there surely you don't spend 25m+ on strengthening a position we have enough quality and depth in especially when we need more quality in CM.

This! Fair play Chelsea. A real signal of intent. Will be interesting to see who we go for now!

*6th placed league finish
* 25 points behind leaders
*parked the bus in semi final and final fluked a win through pens in final, robben missed penalty
*no manager
*poor fans

I don't understand your point.

poor decision by him imo. if he wanted to go forward in his career he would join us or the rags. they are inferior compared to us and united. theyre achievement in the champs league doesnt change that, it was a one off. base it on league performances

It is good that it has been settled so early, the Sanchez one last year ran for the whole of the window and left us little time to find an alternative.

Sanchez signed for Barca on the 20th of July...

They are a top team, but they were still 25 points behind us in the League.

And there are 2 explanations for the deal falling through in the media
1) Agent's fee of £4.8m
2) Players wish to play regularly

If this is right, it's good that we feel able to stand our ground. We will be stronger for this and it ensures players come here for the right reasons

Exactly this and spot on

There was not a snowball in Hells chance that City would have agreed to these demands.

Surprised we let it run it's course though!

Nothing to lose by letting it run it's course, if anything it's showing everyone else we WONT bow down and get involved in players and agents demands.

It's our terms or no terms.............

But what an alternative it turned out to be eh?

With hindsight, the alternative was the better deal.

Chelsea would of made top 4 were it not for AVB. They are a good side, the champions league win proved that.

ABU. Rather a War Crimes XI won the league than the scum.

As for Hazard, I wonder if our club has done any of the groundwork on alternative deals, the newspapers do not seem to know who we're after instead of Hazard now.
The Times has some ideas and looks like they've been reading Bluemoon, or maybe TH writes for them

I agree,i have seen nothing of Sanchez to make me think he is anywhere near Aguero,a slice of fortune that ultimately won us the title.
