Hazard Joining Chelsea

Look at all the players that have signed for us before we were Champions. Just because we're champions doesn't mean that we have a divine right to players.

Sometimes there's lots of factors. For example, if I was a player and not a City fan, I'd prefer London to Manchester 9 out 10 times.

Lavezzi and co.?

At least we aren't the only club whose transfers lead to the most stupid headlines imaginable.

Chelsea’s rebuilding grows with £78m Eden Hazard signing

Why is it when the scum sign someone, wages are never factored in like when we (and Chelsea) do?

*6th placed league finish
* 25 points behind leaders
*parked the bus in semi final and final fluked a win through pens in final, robben missed penalty
*no manager
*poor fans

I don't understand your point.

poor decision by him imo. if he wanted to go forward in his career he would join us or the rags. they are inferior compared to us and united. theyre achievement in the champs league doesnt change that, it was a one off. base it on league performances
How many games would have got for us in his favored position though we've got Tevez if he stays then there's is Silva, Nasri and Yaya. Honestly it's good he stated where he wants to play rather than joining then moaning about it after like Boateng did.

Great article here: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...azard-to-join-Chelsea-in-35-million-deal.html

"City are thought to have walked away from the deal last week with Spurs giving up some time ago."

"Chelsea will pay a fee of around €40 million (£35.3 million) to Lille, with Hazard having demanded wages of £4.6 million a year net of tax, so around £9  million a year for his new employer. That averages out at £170,000 a week."

"If all the demands are met and with Hazard expected to agree a five-year deal, it means the overall cost of the signing, fees and contract will amount to around £78 million which, even by Chelsea standards, is a substantial investment."

But it wasn't a one off. They've been to the final before and been in and around the semi's almost every year recently. They've got Champions League pedigree and it was a matter of time before they won it. Anyone who labels it as a fluke is daft! And it's not long since they won the league itself. Their 6th place finish is more likely a one off than their Champions League win.

hopefully we dont sign anyone in that position and suarez gets a chance

-- Mon May 28, 2012 10:14 pm --

They can take that with the Drogba,Boswinga and Kalou wages off the wage bill.
