Hillsborough - The Search for Truth

To all the Liverpool fans who never gave up on their RIGHT to the truth, very well done, you are a credit to this country and the city of Liverpool.
Quite a few of those in charge of this tragedy should be squiriming in their seats waiting for the law to be applied to their dereliction of duty, arrogance, lies and corruption, their is something very horrible about blaming a group of people in this way on that awful day...the polices image has took a hammering this week and trust in their work has to be gained from their responsible actions.
I sincerely hope that proper JUSTICE can be applied using the full force of the law.

Bettison was off duty on the day but depending on which inquiry he was talking to his role changed. You are talking about a man who once culled 65 hours of video footage of hillsborough into a 29 mins presentation to mps to fuel the hooliganism excuse. He will fall on his sword sooner rather than later. After the Taylor enquiry he was posted to other duties and was chief constable on merseyside for a while.

for charity towards hillsborough , please buy You'll Never Walk
Alone by gerry & the peacemakers on itunes , help it to No 1. Currently at 16.

Gerry Marsden donating
proceeds to the Hillsborough charities

Anything is overly appreciated

Peter Taylor at the centre of the Stefan Ivan Kiszko jailing, "the worst miscarriage of justice of all time"UNTILhe was at the centre of Hillsborough "the worst miscarriage of justice of all time".
I was wrong the Hillsborough cover up ny the Police wasn't the template for the way the corrupt Yorkshire Police would behave towards football fans for the next 23 yrs after Hillsborough, the Stefan Ivan Kiszko case was the template for Hillsborough & the next 23 yrs.
Even down to the coroner & police escaping justice........well almost the same outcome.

-- Fri Sep 14, 2012 10:45 pm --

Saw that AND HE did the Audio himself & it included near enough what the sun printed.
A hell of a lot more stones to be turned over.

I'm a bit confused over some of what's come out. People seem to think the ambulance service just stopped trying to help people after the 3:15 cut off which surely wasn't the case. This 3:15 time came about after the event didn't it? But people are saying their relatives could have been saved?

Justice for the 39?

Right, i'm not looking to start an argument

just wondering why scousers protest so much about justice for the 96, which we all know is coming... but justice for the 39 is swept under the carpet.

If the scouse want to be clear of blame for hillsboro thats fine, but why is the same standards not applied to Heysel when they crushed 39 italians to death through there actions

The ambulances were prevented from getting to the injured by the police on the grounds that fans were fighting. This of course was bullshit but as they were outside the ground the ambulance crews would have known no different.

The 3.15 cut-off was simply a gross manipulation of the "justice" system - ie by establishing this artificial deadline (claiming that if it was after 3.15 it didn't matter because by that time those fans that were killed would have been dead by that time anyway) - accountability for errors/wrongdoing after this time was not considered material.

Because a number of Liverpool fans were prosecuted for Heysel, but no one had been held accountable for Hillsborough?

Best to read the report online.
What the coroner said he meant was no one could have been saved from death after 3.15 not everyone was dead,he LIED.
HE phoned up police officers that had made statements saying people were alive & actually spoke at 3.40 & along with senior PC/s put pressure on them to change their statements, they did.
The 3.15 cut off point meant the emergency services could not be investigated because they arrived after 3.15,that was also a lie 43 Ambulances were outside the ground refusing to enter.
Ony one did enter, the ambulance service personnel along with medics with the help of solicitors doctored statements to show as fact that no one would have lived from the injurys they suffered even if not dead before 3.15 they would have died anyway. They did what the police did.
The coroner was the main culprit as he said ALL the injured had suffered throat crushing that was impossible to treat,he lied they all lied
