Hinchcliffe

Strange the media wanting to and trying to disect city's defeat at southampton, and turning one recent defeat into a crisis, you would think we had been a load of points up on the rags then caught and with them were they are now 12 points up,you can bet it wouldnt be like this if the roles were reversed....As for andy hinchcliffe think its already been mentioned on this thread never bite the hand that feeds, otherwise sky .....

David Moyes spoke quite well of us tonight on sky.

Maybe he's after a new job. Fucking hope not!

Nothing wrong with what AH said as it's his opinion and that of some others here.
What is wrong is saying that in public. Just serves the purpose of undermining the manager in the eyes of the press and general public.
Not helpful to our cause really.
If you want to show support for the club in public, now is the time to get behind the players and manager, not help fan the flames.

Fcuking hell makes a change, must have got a blow to the head as all you read or hear is us get pelters from all corners,is he on sky?...

Andy married one of my wife's best friends Sue, I've met Andy a good few times. He is very knowlegable from a footy point of view and is blue as they come.
I wouldn't take his views lightly, he normally doesn't say anything without knowing a little of what is going on.............?!
To be honest, after watching City at live games for the last 40 years, I've seen many occasions when things aren't right between players and managers. Jim Whitley is a neighbour and friend, he's told me some real horror stories about players and managers not getting on and the things players did to get them sacked, and visa versa. Then his mate Robbie Savage has a story or 2 to tell, player power can be too much for some (but not all), if there is no support running right through the team and club. Don't think for one minute something like this could not be happening, I hope I'm wrong, but the whole team was poor on Saturday, not just a couple of individuals.............?!

Yep, he's covering the Dipper game alongside little Gary..

Four and a half years after the takeover it is noteworthy that we have next to no former players on TV who have any genuine feeling for the club.

Today, Jamie Carragher, a man who is at times unintelligible, has today announced his aspirations to forge a career in media. He follows in a long line of other ex-LFC pundits: Barnes; Lawrenson; Hansen; Thompson; Mcmannaman all of whom are prepared to stretch the bounds of reason, and at times sanity, in order to paint the picture which best suits their former club.

This arrangement isn't just restricted to Liverpool: united have Owen, Schemichel, Yorke and Dublin.; Arsenal have Nicholas, Keown and Merson.

Who is there to speak on our behalf? Mills, Fowler, Quinn and the aforementioned McMannaman and Schmeichel. All of them, with the partial exception of Quinn, spent their best years at other clubs, only came here for the money and have a barely disguised contempt for our club.

Andy Hinchliffe is free to say what he wants, but given how relatively underrepresented we are in the media, especially given our support over the last decade and the fact that we're still (barely) Champions, he demonstrated a greater loyalty to his own ambitions with Sky than to a club he claims to care about.

I'm sure in a few years we'll have a few more people championing our cause, but in the meantime we have to merely hope that as many of those that are currently called upon to talk 'on behalf of our club' to do so in a manner that reflects the fact that they at least care about City enough to think about the consequences of what they are saying.

Unlike Andy Hincliffe.

Lets face it what positives did Hinchcliffe have to say about that Southampton defeat.Even i couldnt defend Manchester City after such a feeble display on saturday. He was only telling the truth and sometimes you have to take it on the chin.

Too many drama queens on here. Hinchcliffe called it right, end of.
