Very disappointed with Capri.
Absolutely rammed, could hardly move, hen parties, stag does, Prada and tourist tat on the same street. RIP off prices for everything.
Anacapri was better and the chairlift was fun.
But of all the places we went to in the last week it was the most disappointing.

Just finishing a very chilled two weeks staying half board at the Barcelo Fuerteventura Beach Resort. Will be flying back to Manchester on Tuesday night. We have had a nice apartment in a quality 4 star resort. Friendly & supportive staff, great facilities, quality food & plenty to do in the evenings. Booked through Easyjet Holidays. Weather has been scorching hot, but the resort is right next to the beach & there is a constant sea breeze which has helped a lot. Stayed here 10 years ago & was wary it might have gone downhill, but it’s been great & we have really enjoyed it.

Just booked Hotel Conca Park in Sorrento for me, Mrs and what will be a 1 year old for next year (early September) for our honey moon!

So Capri is a no go? Was planning on doing a night!
 
September might be better and not a weekend day because yesterday was just rammed.
Also choose your ferry over carefully. We went over on a big fast ferry and the journey was so bad my wife was ill for the rest of the day as were a few others. The journey back was on a smaller fast ferry and it was much better.

I was there last week and agree with your comments. Couldn't wait to get back on the ferry to Naples. 13 euros for a pint. Lemoncillo spritzer 18 euros.

Me too, went last year after last visiting 20 years ago...was lilke night and day, every fucker trying to rip you off !!!
 
Just returned last Friday from a fortnight in Salou (Spain). Really nice place. First time I've been. Plenty of trips to Barca and other places. Visited Tarragona up the coast, beautiful city, steeped in history. Was red hot as well. Every day between 25 & 32 degrees.

Loads of nice beach front restaurants and bars.

Nightlife good - not madness like Maga, or Ibiza.

Walked 5 miles down the coast to a small town called Cambrils. The beaches along the way are stunning. Would deffo go again.
 
On a 7 day count down to Skiathos and the Kassandra Bay Suites.....2 City games to watch while I'm there. Good times!
 
Just had a quick week in Malta -(St Julians) got back Thursday, was decent to be fair, pleasantly surprised, but didn't realise it was party central, there was loads of young uns clubbing till daft o' clock, but it was nice and warm
 
Off to Abu Dhabi for a week, next week. Looks very (too) hot. Benidorm over Xmas and then Vietnam for a month or more in Feb - only £300 for accommodation and about £20 a day to eat and drink for me and the missus. Dec next year, Oz for 6 weeks, to see my son and to explore.
