skiathos has plenty especially skiathos townDid that too
Skiathos is lovely, no doubt
But i do like a little resort, maybe 3/4 bars, 4/5 restaurants, and skiathos doesnt have that
Stoupa on the Peloponnese is my utter favourite

Stoupa is great but it does have a few more bars and restaurants than that.Did that too

Just home from two weeks round the med with P&O on Arvia
Great period to unwind but far too many snappers on there this time.. Like a floating creche
Missed my golf too...
Panama Canal with Princess in September... Probably much less kids but lots of Septic Tanks

For the first time ever last year we went back to the same resort 2 years running, stoupa. Never done that as we like to explore different places but we adored stoupa.Stoupa is great but it does have a few more bars and restaurants than that.
We were all set to go a third year but the kids had a moan so we have booked finikounda for this year. Still on the peleponese but you turn left out of the airport instead of right

Yes the town does of course and its a lovely town. I meant more the resorts out of toen dont have a ‘centre’ as such. More just the road through and a couple of bars/tavernas dotted about.skiathos has plenty especially skiathos town
I dont like a busy resort , but something to have a potter about at night .
But skiathos is indeed beautiful

Just a shame the weather this week doesn't look great. We've just had a lovely few weeks and should be nice again next week. Hopefully you'll still enjoy it though.

Just spent 9k on a holiday to Gran Canaria for 7 people (kids and Grankids) for July, can't believe the Mrs Ex (from 25 years ago) wanted to tag along and shack up with one of the kids for a cheap holiday..
Finally managed to sort out my China trip that got postponed from last year. Hoping to fly out on the 26 th
Shanghai,X'ian, Guillin, Beijing. 15 days there. Then on the way back got a stop over in Istanbul .
Any tips on any of the locations especially Istanbul for hotels much appreciated .
