horrible juve fans

Went out their in 2006 and i would never go again. The place was a shit hole anyway, but the fans were scum, beating up blokes with their kids badly, we had a flashbang thrown at us the night before the game, they sent scounts into the pubs to see where english fans were.

The cabbies were wankers refusing to take fans to the ground or like our cabbie when we got one,he dropped us off at the juve end. My brother was punched by a juve fan when we were in the car park and then we were chased all over the place (there were 4 of us and 20-30 of them) lost my mate who hide under a bus. Managed to find some other arsenal fans with some coppers who escorted us to the ground and past the away entrance to the other juve end. They fucking love a knife out there as well.

Stay safe lads and if you do go try to have fun!

All the horror stories you've read ignore them, the Fulham fans were absolutley fine last year and so will the City fans.

There is no bad blood between City and Juventus so their should be no trouble.

I hope you're right... but I've been there twice... With England though, so maybe that is the difference.... plus heysel was still fresh in peoples memory.

Also been to Verona & Vicenza... they were fine!

In all fairness to the chap who commented on Fulham, we ain't Fulham. We might not be as known as united or Chelsea or Liverpool out there, but they will know we are a big club who have lots of fans. Fulham were seen as a cute little fairytale, with all due respect to Fulham that is. We are a big, traditional English club and not only that, we're the clb on everyones lips both here and in Italy what with our purchase of balotelli, the sale of Robinho and the desperate pursuit of Kaka. We're big news and I think their nob heads will be out in numbers.

Kinda silly being racist when most of the Italian population has black blood in its ancestry. Spaniards too. A lack of education and the battle for resources is why people become racist. Its an us against them mentality. Yet if one educates himself he will be suprised what he finds. Italy and Spain are very close to Africa by the sea and Turkey by borders and empires which were Moorish (black) and Ottoman (arab) what do they think they are just tan? Romanians and Hungarians are almost 50% arab. Like I said a lack of education is what creates these stupid mindsets.

I well remember watching Stan Horne play for City in the mid sixties, he actually was one of a handful of coloured players in the league, amazing when you think how many there are now.

Here's Stan on the right with Johnny Crossan, David Connor and Colin Bell.

So are you telling me my romantic long weekend away in Turin with the mrs, where by sheer coincidence city happen to be playing juve, may not be all champagne and roses? My mrs is going to kill me isn't she! In all honesty though, it's just me and her going to the match, surely we will be ok if we don't wear colours and keep our head down- or am I being naieve?!

I have prepared myself for any untoward comments directed at me by learning the following phrases-

'You are the illegitimate grandson of Clara Petacci.'

'My train from Rome arrived four and a half minutes late.'

'I much prefer Gilbert and Sullivan to the tuneless caterwaulings that issue from La Scala, thank you so much.'

'Please replace this jumbled heap of tomato covered string with some mulligatawny and lightly toasted pikelets, theres a good fellow.'

I feel confident that this will earn the respect of the locals and show that I am not to be trifled with.
