I'll save my money for next seasons Charity Shield game.
UEFA will fuck us over anyway.
The trip to be fair was great but done it once and that was enough.

No risk of being chucked out for being english?Didsbury Dave said:@BluePhil8 said:So as someone with no points, although I've had 2 season tickets within the last 10 years I have no chance of buying a ticket for this?
I'd say you haven't officially from City. But where there's a will there's a way, especially if you don't mind sitting in the barca end.
I think I'd prefer to sit there anyway to be honest: no bother and a better view and facilities.

Danger that any of their fans would kick my head in?

In March me and my flatmate did 2 nights in Barca and 2 in LDM. LDM was ok but with it being out of season there wasn't much going on, and a lot of places just didn't open. Reasonable weather but cool at night. Return coach was about 20e iirc and takes around an hour e/w. If there are a few of you going then it would be a good laugh, and we did see a few other Blues kicking about.
If people are still looking for cheap ways to get to Spain, try looking for flights into Girona airport, which services the Costa region with good links to Barcelona. Think Ryanair use that airport, surprise surprise.
Giving it a swerve this time. Couldn't even get a ticket for the game in March this year, so don't really fancy all the expense again to just watch it in a pub on Las Ramblas! March is a bad time for me as well, it's shaping up to be a very expensive month already.
Fingers crossed we sneak through and get a good draw as yet to do a Euro away this season.

No and no, I'd say.
Champions league games are full of people from around the world. And barca aren't a trouble club.
Plenty of blues in their end last year.
If there are some who will want to sit in the barca end, when they get released I will try and get a group booking( depends on numbers, also not to big a number.)whatever the ticket is,that is all you will pay.Didsbury Dave said:@BluePhil8 said:So as someone with no points, although I've had 2 season tickets within the last 10 years I have no chance of buying a ticket for this?

can i get ticket for away end on day of match DD?
barca have a really odd way of selling them, and they are really dear.@BluePhil8 said:That's what I'll do then. Does anyone know when Barca will put tickets on sale?
How dear we talking? £70 is fine.Didsbury Dave said:barca have a really odd way of selling them, and they are really dear.@BluePhil8 said:That's what I'll do then. Does anyone know when Barca will put tickets on sale?
They go on sale, then go off sale and are offered to 'members'. Then a few days before the game the tickets not taken up go on sale. You will see them on those licences ticket tout sites like ticket master for a high price. Barca won't sell you one directly in the uk.
If I were you I'd go over there and get one on matchday or the day before.

There were a few City end knocking around the day before the game
Last year if you asked around and kept your ear to the ground.
I know some lads who just asked their hotel concierge to get them a barca end ticket, so that's an easy option too.
