Starmer needs to grow a pair, educate the ‘Red Wall’ troglodytes, and reverse this fiasco.
A sure vote winner if he does. Not only winning the red wall racist votes, but also uniting labour behind something the entire party (apart from about 3 hard left loons) agrees with.Starmer needs to grow a pair, educate the ‘Red Wall’ troglodytes, and reverse this fiasco.
Didn’t do exactly what it said on the tin.The irony of the above is that they voted for seismic, earth shattering, devastating change.
He could always tempt them in with a bit of populism before labelling them all as racist ....A sure vote winner if he does. Not only winning the red wall racist votes, but also uniting labour behind something the entire party (apart from about 3 hard left loons) agrees with.
IT would be refreshing to hear brexiteers admit its not really working and that they actually do now understand the issues that were warned about before the vote. It would be nice since most remainers, like me, didnt want it but now here and we all have to work towards it.
Not going to get mea culpa from those who voted Leave, but perhaps now the Omerta can be broken and politicians can actually attribute much of the current mess to Brexit. The country is in need of counselling and speaking about it now might stop more mistakes being made. Reopening the conversation will also help people appreciate that Brexit is far from done.IT would be refreshing to hear brexiteers admit its not really working and that they actually do now understand the issues that were warned about before the vote. All I hear though is that Brexit has been "done".
What the actual fuck is that about.

COVID affected the world and the war in Ukraine is having an even greater impact on countries closer to the fighting. Food, energy, and fuel prices aren’t coming down anytime soon, and there must be open discussion now.Somebody at some point is going to have to be honest with the population as a whole. “COVID and the Ukraine war has put severe pressure on our economy which will continue for years. And leaving the EU, particularly the single market/customs union, has made it incredibly difficult to achieve the economic growth required to get out of the mess.”
Surely it isn’t hard to say it without triggering the defence mechanisms of those responsible too much.
