Things are moving very quickly now. Lies can only hold back reality for so long, this Swiss nonsense has been deliberately trickled out to spark a betrayal reaction, then the dam bursts and it becomes mainstream discourse to talk about rejoining.
The fuckers who brought us to this place are no longer in government, they've been replaced by the B team, who are in office but not in power. Sunak's Tories have no purpose, the question hanging over this government is "why?"
When everyone wants them gone, when the CBI and the Guardian are as one, when all the lies are exposed, when folk are anxious, cold and hungry, precedent means fuck all.

The problem is we have allowed the equivalent of a false religion into our politics.
When religion is involved, logic, reasoning and facts are replaced by faith and emotion.
That is no way to run a country. Indeed, a government needs to be based on logic, reason and facts to be functional in the modern world.
It isn't the 11th Century anymore, and faith and emotion have never paid the rent. Except for priests and vicars, that is. Do you see the parallel?
