How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

That’s the spirit, bring a bit of gutter language and agression in to what was a great debate. This is where, if the debate is in the Pub , some decide it’s time to drink up and leave. And then people wonder why it becomes one sided . I despair sometimes.

We don’t have a Tory government, we have a SNP government. We are run by a devolved government and Parliament. We raise our own taxes, we decide how our money is spent. We run our own NHS and our own education service, judiciary, housing, economy, transport, equal opportunities, social services and environmental.

I’m a unionist but I don’t think there’s much incompatibility in arguing for both being a member of the EU and Scottish independence. It’s only a mirror image if they want the future relationship and deal with the rest of the U.K. to be similar to what we’ve ended up with the Brexit deal, which if people are also advocating remain, they clearly don’t.

It’s quite simple. Scotland should be able to choose which Union in wants to be part of.

Absolutely it should. It was asked and said it wanted to remain a part of the United Kingdom of course in what the SNP described as a one in a generation referendum.

Only questions now are will they get another anytime soon and will the answer be different? I hope they don’t and if they do, the answer the same but I’m a democrat and if we decide to leave the Union then so be it. At that point we would all need to make it work.
