Because he works for the Fail. Why’s the **** blaming the French? This is what we voted for, not the French.
Simples.

Do you think thats the case? That other members want out?
Why’s the **** blaming the French? This is what we voted for, not the French.
No I didn’t. I was referencing leaving the EU, not any vote elsewhere. Could have made that clearer tbf, but thought it would be obvious.because you said that by treating the uk as they are would put other members off from putting it to the vote.
The EU cannot stop a Member State asking its citizenry whether they should leave. However, Member States now have an exemplar as to what might happen economically should they choose to do so.because you said that by treating the uk as they are would put other members off from putting it to the vote.
The EU are doing what we asked of them which is to treat us as a third country. Complaining about them implementing agreements that we freely signed up to means that we maybe shouldn’t have signed up to them if we don’t like the outcome.I hold my hand up I voted leave, but this is a complete shit show now, I do think the EU are making it harder than it should be just so more don’t, however i do think there were many things we weren’t told.
I was listening about the media bill going through which basically the government can sensor for example a comedian saying a joke people find offensive they can take it down off TV! This is censorship we do not need, next burning books!
I do wonder if another referendum could be done, if the Scots can have one, although how the hell that would work, wouldn’t we need a hard border etc if they left and joined the EU?

not the way it reads in your reply to BlueMaverick. No I didn’t. I was referencing leaving the EU, not any vote elsewhere. Could have made that clearer tbf, but thought it would be obvious.
Who knows?who knows? Perhaps each member state should have a referendum. But as gordandavies said, other states dont want to have the treatment that the uk is getting.
It’s not like we weren’t warned. Why’s the **** blaming the French? This is what we voted for, not the French.
exactly, so the eu is happy to have possibly member states not want to put the vote to its population due to "look at what we will/can do"The EU cannot stop a Member State asking its citizenry whether they should leave. However, Member States now have an exemplar as to what might happen economically should they choose to do so.

Well every poll taken (including in the midst of pandemic) shows very strong support for the EU from all its members. Hardly an indication that any one of them want out. Maybe they look at how we have 'massively benefited' from leaving and come to a sane conclusion.
We are only being treated the way we asked to be treated. As a third country outside the EU. Its not difficult to grasp. Leave the club and forego the benefits of being in the club.

Seriously, what have they done that we didn't agree to?exactly, so the eu is happy to have possibly member states not want to put the vote to its population due to "look at what we will/can do"
I can’t think of many organisations that actively seek to reduce the size of their membership, and there are currently more countries seeking to join than discussing leaving.exactly, so the eu is happy to have possibly member states not want to put the vote to its population due to "look at what we will/can do"
as bluemaverick and gordanstache said....making it harder than it should be.What treatment is that?
The one we asked for and signed up to or something else?
How could it be made easier for us in the context of the agreement we signed up to other than the EU failing to implement that agreement just like we do?as bluemaverick and gordanstache said....making it harder than it should be.
