Agree.
I don't think we've seen enough of Kelechi to see how far he can go. Are we talking about Aguero great, or Messi great.
I think we all need to calm down. Getting a bit carried away here

He looks to have more to his overall game than Cole and probably Shearer too. No disrespect to those two, though, who were brilliant at what they did. He's no Samaras for sure. I reckon if he gets a longterm crack in the PL, we're talking Shearer/Cole-class. But, we have to protect him from becoming Sturridge on the injury front.
Great post Nev.He reminds me of film I've seen of Pele as a kid. It was of course a different game then & different tactics, so we're not going to see Kelechi flicking & tricking his way around 6 modern day defenders at a time, like a kid in the schoolyard, like Pele was doing, but the moments of magic are there & imo ther are similarities. Imo Kelechi could have come straight from the U17 World Cup into our first team squad. Not as a regular starter, but off the bench etc, red tape made that impossible.
He is a potential genius & those on here saying stuff like 'that's the standard our kids need to be at in order to get a game' are talking ridiculous nonsense. In that case the only player in the team would be Aguero. Very few of our first team squad would have been able to come into a City team at 19 & do what Kelechi has done. If any. And no way was Aguero as sharp mentally, when he was 22 never mind 19, Aguero was super talented but a bit headless.
Kelechi doesn't just have skill (they all have skill) he has the mentality, intelligence & confidence to go with it, & will likely have the physique too & that's why he reminds me of Pele, rather than just ability. With Pep in charge during these crucial years to come, there must be a decent chance of him realising his potential, which is off the scale. There is much more to Kelechi's game than scoring tap ins etc & it will start to show.

Mate, we are going to produce a world class player through our ranks (I know that he didn't play much for junior teams but that was due to circumstances) soon and there's no reason why Kelechi can't be the one.I think we all need to calm down. Getting a bit carried away here
On the surface he looks calm and ready.....
And then hiding it behind a cushion.
Not sure if anyone mentioned it, I know the press won't. Nacho has scored the same amount of goals as Martial but in half the games......

Actually the above is a bit of an understatement: Martial has scored 9 goals with 2653 minutes of playing time, Iheanacho has scored 9 (if you count the goal that was wrongly scratched off) is 613 minutes.
It took Iheanacho 23% of the time that it Martial...
He must have a better minutes per goal ratio than Aguero? If not, it's very close. That says it all really. 19 years of age and needs less time to get a goal than the greatest striker we've ever had (admittedly over a smaller number of games!)
He's like a coiled spring!
'Terrifying are the attent sleek thrushes on the lawn, more coiled steel than living'
That's Kelechi!!
But I'm sure he looks better than this
1 of Martials goals was for Monaco, he only has 8 for the scum.
