If I was the chairman of an opposing team I would encourage them to hold on to Hughes too.... only two relegation spots to be filled now!!

As far as Fernandes (or any other chairmen) goes it is quite simple untill you actually sack a manager you publiccly suport them whatever your private views.
Undermining your manager does nothing for team confidence and any chairmen who takes this route is frankly a fool.
He may express his reservations to Hughes but in public he has to support him untill he goes.

Quite. The media seem not to understand this very simple and obvious point, for some reason.

I agree with that though I am not sure he is not fool. He hired Hughes and gave him lot of money.

And his "twittering" is not something you would expect from club's chairman/owner (whatever he is there). COuld you imagine Khaldoon/Mansour or Gill/Glazers or Florentino Perez, Galliani/Berlusconi etc etc tweeting?

No, it's more for someone running local bakery, not the multimillion football club.

Personally I think they've got a decent chance of finishing higher than 12th in the league with their squad, but they'd have to get rid of clueless to do that and the qpr owners seem to be too patient to get rid of him before the damage will be done
