The bloke is a cnut.

Yeh a lot of hammers fans feel the same - I personally don't get the hatred, he comes across (to me) as a nice guy, honest and quite funny, he was a great player and manager for us and the fact he has managed over a thousand games deserves some respect.

Yes he has done some dodgy deals in his time, like alot of managers but he's never been charged of anything, Spurs fans who all think hes a c@nt will be wishing he was back there now, I personally wish he was England manger, certainly gets the respect out of his players - just not people behind there keyboard.

No, my thread was about Redknapp being an odious man. Nothing to do with Hughes.

Hankering after the QPR job was the latest example in a long line of his underhand misdemeanours.

If I start a thread about how he shamelessly went from Pompey to Soton, then back to Pompey, would that be merged?

MarkT, I can understand why Irons fans like HR. However, I'm not sure I'd be using "Honest" as one of his main attributes.

I'm even more baffled why this discussion about Harry Redknapp is taking place on a thread about Mark Hughes.
