Hughes..the reality

The day that an ITK is reliable is when they tell us where they got their info from. It's obvious that their "reliable" source isn't assed about people finding out so why not just tell us.

And then the source gets discovered, gets a warning ath the very least and then never says another word.

i support manchester city fc - the club

i am not besotted with the manager or with garry cook (who incidentally everyone seems to forget is not the main decision maker at the club)

i am not desperate to go to these forums and just be happy to be in the same room as these people, get there and ask them p*ss easy questions

i think if he had 6/7 years to build then hughes could be a good choice

the owners have all this money and want more of an impact sooner, thats why to attract the best players and a better pool of squad players sentiment will go out of the window and i think we'll end up with a new manager and a new MD

people at the club read this website, it has been confirmed a few times...

whats to stop club employees logging on as 3/4 different people and putting the "hughes in" agenda out there

everytime someone has something to say, even if it is constructive criticism - "oh it's bullsh*t"

why settle for 2nd best ?

Until i konw who the striker is, how are we to have an say.

The big name may have been similar to that welsh railway station, but at the end of the day i would agree with hughes, if you think he's a big name but he won't put a shift in, whats the point of him being there to stand up front and finger his own bum.

Bellamy has played well (When not injured), and i'm sure he will address the forward role in the summer.

I have heard from one of our fullbacks that all the players think Hughes is doing a fantastic job and that all the backroom staff think hes a real tinker, he even flirts with the tea lady( old joan age 67). Rumour has it (Fullback says) he going on a long golfing holiday in Abu Dhabi in the summer to iron out our long term masterplan. Thats all the inside info i have at this moment and cannot reveal my source.

That is a pile of bullshit mate, you are sitting in your bedroom wearing your rag shirt wanking over that post. First off, Joan is only 64 (although she does look quite a bit older). Second, Abu Dhabi in the summer is like the surface of the sun. Unless the sheiks have built an indoor air conditioned golf course no pale-skinned European would survive past the first 9 holes.

As I've said before, I believe there's a lot of shit being spread by Academy staff and one or two disgruntled players. Looking at this one, I'd say it was the academy. They have a beef with Hughes because he's ruffled their feathers about the way they are bringing the young players on and failing to prepare them for life in the first team. And I think Hughes is right.

While we all praise Jim Cassell for the work he's done for the club over the years, how many academy products are playing at the top level? Glenn Whelan at Stoke, Wayne Hennessy at Wolves, Dickson Etuhu at Fulham.

In our own team, there's Steven Ireland, who we could have sold last summer until he decided to get a grip of his career and thank goodness he did. Ned, who is looking good so far but hasn't always. Micah, who needs to do what Stevie I did this summer if he's to fulfil his undoubted potential. Ched Evans, who is still not particularly convincing.

Hughes is entitled to build a team that he feels will play for him. You only have to look at the rags to see that they don't have have players in every position that are actually the best in the world. But they are players that do a great job for them beecause Baconface knows he can trust them.
