Individual Match Tickets - 2024/25

Tell me about it. Hotel room rates have gone through the roof in the last two or three years. I'm over for the Ipswich game (flying over friday afternoon, and back on Saturday night). And a run of the mill 3* hotel is costing me £100 for the Friday night. If I wanted to stay in the Lowry or the Hilton (Ha!), you're talking between £400 and 500, for one night.

The new Arena is just going to make it even worse

I think that is indeed the case, but in this particular instance it may also be due to the bank holiday w/e and the Pride happening at the same time. Manchester city centre does get busy during the w/e thanks to all the people who come here for drinking and partying.

I usually advice to stay outside Manchester - Stockport, for example, is 10 minutes by train from Piccadilly and there is a new-ish Holiday Inn just by the station.

No it's most weekends in Manchester since Covid.Lucky to get a Premier Inn or Travelodge uner £100, even going as far out as Rochdale can be £90-£140

Stockport is a good shout but even that area is getting pricey. Last time we stopped just north of Birmingham as it was nearly half the price of the Manchester area

I'm not even in the city centre; out in Belle Vue.
