Sorry but as this appears to be the main fitness thread, can anybody recommend a good protein shake which tastes ok with water? Running out of my current stuff which I have with milk but want to cut down on milk in take.

Thanks

Anything by Reflex - top quality.

If you want a cheap/cheerful,value for money but not as tasty then

May i suggest brain surgery or a personality transplant?

Has anybody ever used Thermobol when cutting up? Been told off a couple of people it's pretty decent.

Oh and update on this thread, going into month 2 next week. Following the nutrition plan down to the letter apart from one takeaway one night of the week and zero alcohol. Looking pretty lean and since I first started last October I'm down from 12st 4lbs to 10st 2lbs. Looking pretty lean and ripped just not ripped and lean enough, reckon I need to add supplements.

Never used it personally mate but people I know who have (experienced people that is) say "save your money, far too expensive for what it is".

Not doing the 'Insanity workout' but this looks like the best place for general fitness advice etc.

Bascially I am 6ft and weigh bang on 11st. I am what you would probably describe as 'Skinny Fat' if that makes sense. There is definitely something there in terms of muscle, but its a little hidden at the minute. Looking to bulk up and shred the fat.

For the last two months I have been starting going to the gym five times a week, and although I have seen improvements in terms of the weights I am lifting, can't really see any in physical appearance - except when I just finish the gym!

Any suggestions?

Diet is as follows

7AM - Porridge
- Yoghurt

10.30AM - Pot of Low Fat Cottage Cheese

12PM - Promax Meal Bar

1.30PM - GYM

2PM Cyclone Shake

6PM Dinner - Grilled Chicken Breast with Veg etc.

depends what you are doing in the gym but it can be a slow (and demoralising) process.

I during this stage I always remind myself that, while physical gains may be minimal, this part of the process is still building up your level of fitness which you need before you can start making the physical changes.

And for the record I couldn't do the type of diet you're on, I like my 'proper' food too much!
