Yes it’s a decision to make when leaving Sky Q. Swap the LNB and use old receiver: £60 but either no pause & rewind, or max record 2 channels. We had a Humax box mate from about 18 months back and couldn't connect, hence the requirement for a Hybrid LNB. Maybe the new generation of boxes for freesat will work .. anyone? With the Hybrid LNB we can now connect via our TV's built in freesat so negating the box altogether.
Keep the LNB and buy a new receiver: £145 but get a better interface (probably only worth it if you don’t already have on demand apps on the telly)
Keep LNB and buy a new recorder box: £230 - £290 with record 4 at once. (Still a fair outlay but the closest you’ll get to Sky Q if there’s a lot of recording going on).
After Sky Q we just went back to our Freeview box (Manhattan) as it’s ideal for us. I still like to be able to pause live TV and record occasionally. Just stream everything else. The TV has inbuilt satellite receiver but the guide was impossible to use.
