IPTV

Anyone have any idea why my firestick wouldn't connect to my virgin internet. The password is correct and virgin works fine for phone/ps5 etc.
The firestick connects to the extender upstairs and my phone for hot spot but doesn't connect to the main virgin internet which is next to the firestick.

No idea but I hardwired mine with an ethernet cable.

Amazon Fire TV Cube has 16gb built in and a USB socket to add a memory stick.
I run a 256gb memory stick etc.
It then asks you if you want to offload Apps to the memory stick. (not all apps can be moved)
I think you just select it when asked where to store recordings. You may have to add named folder first.
I don't use it to record, but worth mentioning if it helps anybody :)

Tried one a couple of years ago from a local bloke. £80 a year for an android box wired to an Ethernet cable. Nothing but trouble. Laggy, unreliable and a piece of shit.

Would rather pay my current £63 Virgin for full sports, entertainment, movies and high speed broadband and not be arsed about what the pundits on Sky and TNT say.

You’ve been unlucky, plenty of top ones out there……technology has improved

IPTV has been great for me this season, the slight delay means I can turn the tv off before our opponents score

Correct. Think it was the PSG game, Bet 365 told me they'd scored. Still haven't seen the goal. Straight off.

When you say the virgin internet, are you saying your main router? As the extender would be your virgin internet too?

This happened to mine after an update on the stick also on Virgin. Had to completely reset the stick and reinstall everything

It's getting the 3pm matches for most etc.

I think the better ones have improved a lot in the last couple of years.

I wouldn’t want it as my only option. But it’s a good alternative for things you can’t get on regular TV, like 3pms, newly released films and boxing PPVs.

Think I’ve already watched three boxing PPVs that I probably would have paid for. So I look at it that I’m already in credit for the £50 I paid for a year’s IPTV.

£63 is a tremendous price for all the sports channels and fast broadband mind.

Yeah sorry, so the main router just says connection error but the extender does connect like it doesnt recognise its still being run from the router via an extender?

The extender is upstairs so the signal isnt great for IPTV.
