IPTV

Cheers for that. I'll have a butchers :-)
Fired up box but not what I expected. Google tv based and no chrome browser so thought I was fucked for downloading stuff. Fucked about for a bit then realised I don't need those these days.
App store was installed so got downloader aftv app and downloaded my iptv player thru that.

What are people paying for a decent vpn and iptv these days.

I was a kodi / fire stick user back in the day when you could do install from links posted on here. I think I still have a gen 1 firestick somewhere but it became very unreliable and I just gave up and watched streams on my laptop.
I'm thinking of getting back in the game.

I have two subs and windscribe VPN.

Sub #1 - £50/year
Sub #2 - £45/year

Windscribe £20/year

I’ve got an IPTV (only works on Firestick/Fire TV) it used to be based on Sky Glass but that failed around new year and was replaced by something called “Frequency”. It has live TV hundreds of global channels lots of live football & sport (including all the sky content which seems to come from Ireland), plus 20,000 films and about 8000 series. I use Surf Shark VPN but don’t always need/use it. I have two “licences” meaning it’s separately installed on two TVs and costs me £60 a year. The VPN was similar cost.
As a back-up, I still have three versions of Kodi: 2 on Amazon Fire TV and 1 on a MacBook Pro. All the Kodi stuff still works even one that’s about 7 years old. I used to pay a huge sum to Sky & BT every month (about £150) until about 6 years ago.

Has anyone ever noticed that things like IPTV and Kodi are purely for blokes. Women don't seem to be interested in how it works.
The TV remote is male territory.

My missus would just pay for everything if she was on her own.
Then again I don't know how the dishwasher or the washing machine works....

Another blokey thing is barbecuing. Been to loads, never seen a woman doing it.

And blokes are always too warm to put the heating on.
Sorry drifting off topic.

Funny old world innit.
:)

A good Kodi build combined with Premiumize and a reliable VPN gives all you need.

Is there any benefit to using Premiumize over Real Debrid in Kodi?
Not really.
Premiumize is a lot more expensive than RD, at 70 Euro a year, rather than the 32 euro that RD costs for a year.
True you get some extra features that RD doesn't offer, such as newsgroups links, but personally I don't feel the extras outweigh the cost
