It's easy have a dig at Stevie now and be under the illusion he's no great loss since Mancini rendered him all but useless in our setup. How quick some are to forget what a talent he is, if villa get a good manager that encourages him to express himself and to do what comes naturally, attack, he'll prove himself again. There's a very realistic chance that in 3 months time Ireland is knocking them in for Villa, Bellamy's single handed winning the championship and Roberto Mancini's out of a job.

put it this way if ireland came out with similar comments to bellamy he be still well liked on here but no he didnt ho chose to have a pop at our club from top to bottom

that written interview doesn't even document his comments on our youth team and how they apparantly strut about with a thousand watches on thier arms.

I think Ste was well within his rights to say what he said, and unless anyone has actually spent time with the playing squad at City in the last three years, then they have fuck all idea about what goes on behind the scenes.
