Ireland speaks out [Merged]

It's easy have a dig at Stevie now and be under the illusion he's no great loss since Mancini rendered him all but useless in our setup. How quick some are to forget what a talent he is, if villa get a good manager that encourages him to express himself and to do what comes naturally, attack, he'll prove himself again. There's a very realistic chance that in 3 months time Ireland is knocking them in for Villa, Bellamy's single handed winning the championship and Roberto Mancini's out of a job.

Or there's a good chance that Ireland still hasn't got a position and is being kept out the team by Reo-Coker, Bellamy is out injured for 2 months and we're top of the league.
Ding ing ding - we have a winner

Yes we do. It's you!

Ireland has said stuf in the press (that every fucker on here slates - but it's direct quotes so I can see why the sheep follow). Did you slag him when he was our best player? Did you slag him at OT two years ago? Did you slag him when he made countless runs into the box after winning the ball in our own penalty area? No, you didn't.

no because he was a city player and playing well now he's an ex player having a dig at the club

so if he can slag us off well then so can we

That's all in the past though, after all, Stanley Matthews used to be a good player too, how long would we have had to wait for Ireland to come good again ?

Pretty childish stance, Irish-man. You sound like me dad.

put it this way if ireland came out with similar comments to bellamy he be still well liked on here but no he didnt ho chose to have a pop at our club from top to bottom

so what else do you expect our fans to be like if anythig its sour grapes from ireland and he just made himself out to be thicker than what everyone thought with his hypocritical comments about the youth team

The Bellamy that you and many others slagged until you heard that press conference? You're fickle, lad.

You pretend there is something hypocritical in praising someone when they've done well and criticising when they haven't. So to your mind you must either support someone 100% or be against them 100%. Seeing the world in black and white is the mark of someone with a childish mind.

Care to comment BillyShears, DidsburyDave et al

that written interview doesn't even document his comments on our youth team and how they apparantly strut about with a thousand watches on thier arms.

Why? So I can be called a rag, told that I'm not a proper supporter etc...no thanks.

I think Ste was well within his rights to say what he said, and unless anyone has actually spent time with the playing squad at City in the last three years, then they have fuck all idea about what goes on behind the scenes.

Anyway...please continue the witch hunt. I'm sure there's someone somewhere who gives a fuck...
what a clown, stevie said he was not even sad when we lost. well i know i was, what a joke of a footballer. can not wait to see him back at eastlands. bet he still took his fat pay packet and went and pimped his garden gnomes.

I think you're grey.
