As I have said previously it is clear that ALL players do not really care about the club they are at, it is us and us alone who will stand by the club because it is the club we support not the players, managers or owners.
To the players it is a job, a job that we would all love to do but instead we invest emotionally our hopes and dreams on those players who are lucky enough to wear our clubs shirt and thats why it hurts when they leave and thats why it hurts when they speak out.
I am sorry to see Ireland go but to suggest that he loved this club has been shown to be a nonsense these players love what football brings them watches, pink painted range rovers, fish tanks thats what they play for and nothing else.
Some people in any walk of like dont like pressure some thrive on it some love being target driven some hate it. Ireland seems to be one of those that enjoyed being part of an OK team rather than being involved in one that was genuinely trying to be at the peak.
He has gone now and like him I dont care
